IM, I believe you are copying the thumbnail url. Try copying just the url in the "IMG Code" box and simply pasting it here in the text box. Don't bother with pushing that picture button that Dave put in the menu of buttons. This should be what you get.

Once you get that down pat, try resizing your pics to something a bit smaller. You can use any of the photo editing programs for this. I like posting a 480 x 640 size pic to keep the thread window narrow. Otherwise a large picture will force the text window wider and make all that view a thread you've posted a pic on, very wide and viewers will have to scroll left/right to see the entire text/picture boxes. A slightly larger 800 x 600 will work pretty well too.

Thanks Chuck, I appreciate your advice. I'm not sure what it all means, but I will figure it out. Thanks again

IM, Sorry for the nerd speak. Let me give it another try.
When you get to the page on Photobucket where you see the small pictures (called thumbnails) of your album, under each small picture, there are 4 lines with a box next to each that contains a web address. They are titled "Email & IM", "Direct Link", "HTML Code", and "IMG Code". If you copy the web address in the box next to "IMG Code" under the thumbnail of the picture you want to post on Doublegun bbs, then paste the web address in the text box where you type on Doublegun for a reply or post. The picture should appear when you "preview" or post the reply on the bbs.

What Chuck said. To simplify it a bit, you just click on the"IMG" code once it will say copied (bottom of the four lines under the picture) and go to the text box here and hit control "v" to copy.
So many guns, so little time!
