I'll be glad to post some pictures if someone can dumb the process down or I can send them to someone who can post them. I took the rifle down today and found the nos. on the bottom of the barrel; 1 over 1088. The reason I surmise that Stoeger may have done the work is that the engraving on the grip cap and trap buttplate are Exactly like the ones pictured in the 1932 catalog , plus they offered a complete remodeling service, also.
