I have a Mannlicher Schoenauer rifle with AKAH claw mounts. the rear base has opposing windage screws under the scope. I need one of the screws. it is a .7mm x 30
any help or suggestions??

thanks, already checked a bunch of hardware places. threads are right but too small to turn into what I need. My Lathe des not cut metric. looking for a scrap ring that I can salvage the screw maybe

If you have a lathe I would just buy a die and make the screw.

Brian, You can contact New England Custom Guns or T&G German Gun Imports, Mobile Alabama( www.german-gun-imports.com). Both these companies have connections to both Recknagel GmbH & co.KG and Ernst Apel GmbH, which manufacture the screw you need. They may not have the screw "in stock", but if not can order it for you. Mike
