I have heard of this book through some threads here but never new what it really was. I was browsing through some literature at a small antique shop and came across a Stoeger's gun catalog and handbook No 32. I was not going to buy it because it does not have the front or back cover, the markings of the spine are still there. It says copywright 1939. After I started looking at it I could not pass it up for $10. I have only looked through it for a few minutes. Wow, what a great glimpse into the past of gun prices, scopes, shells and so many other things. I am almost as excited about this $10 buy as my last double barrel. 500 pages plus the index. Wow!
