I started with the scope and an action. After I got a barrel, etc, I took it to the local gunsmith and got this back. This shows the metal work partly completed with take-off stocks from another No. 1.

The gun was originally a .458. Now it is a .222 Rem.

The gun in the background is a CZ sporter that I stocked for a friend.

The smith, K.P. Wood of Central Michigan Gunsmithing, is a custom maker himself and a one time member of the ACGC.
