I'm currently using up the last of my PB. I've ran a search on this and came up with nothing. So what is some of my options on powder now and is there anything coming close to IMR- PB.

Post over on Trapshooter.com and ask if anyone in FL has some left for sale on their shelves. I got tips from several people over there last year and ended up with over 32 pounds PB which should last me for the rest of my loading needs for low pressure. A lot of loaders liked PB for the 12 and many no longer reload and will sell it if you just find them.

No luck at Trapshooter so what's some of the powders your using. I have Rem. sts hulls, win 209 primers and cb wads.

Burch, I've run into the same issue with my favorite, 7625. But in the last year I've been shooting a lot of 700-X, and just got some 800-X for 4,800 psi 1 1/8 Oz loads. All my loads are in the 4,000-5,000 psi area and come straight out of the Hodgdon book (website). The 700-X loads are Win AA hulls, CB1100 wads, and mostly Remington primers. I can message or email my exact recipes. But they have crushed clays well and have killed a number of ducks when loaded with Nice Shot

I'd recommend attending the next decent gun show in your area as powder is beginning to show up at ours in reasonable volume and selection. Jim

My current favorite load is Rem sts 2 3/4". 1 oz. of #8 or #6. 20.5 grns of PB. Win 209. CB1100 wad. 5900 psi. 1150 vel. I'm trying this load since I have the powder on hand but capacity stinks. I'm cutting my hulls down to 2 1/2" and still have to use a cusion wad in the shot cup. I have some ready but haven't patterned them yet. sts hull. 20.8 grns of universal. Win 209. WAA12R wad. 7300 psi 1180 velocity. 1oz.
