Seems to favour a Griefelt? Need some images of the sides of the frame & the floorplate. Does it wear a unique buttplate? It experienced proof in May 1932.

Some odd things there. Only the Kersten extension on one side, which I guess means it's not a real Kersten. Maybe a Kersten variation. Can't recall having seen an OU before with the extension on only one side. Also a one-piece forend rather than 3-piece.

Lower grade Merkels often have one extension, Larry. I think they're kind of neat looking.

Lower grade Merkels often have one extension, Larry. I think they're kind of neat looking. Guess I've never seen one of those. Have owned a couple 200's, and they both had 2. And I did own a 16ga Sauer OU that was Merkel-like in appearance, but had a one piece forend.
