Mick Shepherd has been found not guilty on all counts by the jury at the Old Bailey.

Mick was charged with 23 counts relating to selling obsloete calibre guns and bullet cases and heads. the police tried to make out that because he had the bullet cases and heads and the guns he was selling Section 5 prohibited firearms.

Thankfully the jury understoood the law better than the police and threw out every count. This is good news for all of us. Mick is a gentle, kind and eccentric gentleman who does not have a wicked bone in his body. Sending him to jail by persuing such technicalities is criminal.

Poor Mick has been in a high security jail on remand for nine months. Today he is free and we await the repurcussions - and the return of his RFD certificate and his 900 weapons, which were all legally held.
