well, if im doing something wrong, im sure i will be told. but if this is the way its done...here goes. got a grade a? post it here and tell us all about it!
i use to have one. i sold it in 1999. the wife wanted an antique chandelier, so i let it go. it was a 28" mod/full, field stock with org buttplate, solid rib, double beads, sst, btfa. it had doubling issues that required some good ole 'smithing to rectify, but it was one of those guns that just fit (me) perfectly. but some day, i will have another one.
tempt me. show me yours!

Nah, Lefever was sold to ithaca in 1916. Ithaca sold the remaining stock on hand and in the '20s brought out the economy model Lefever Nitro Express guns. In the '30s they introduced the higher quality A grade series which included several variations including the one i posted a picture of...Geo

According to my copy of Walt Snyder's bible on Ithaca "The Ithaca Gun, from the beginning", there were a total of fewer than 2,500 of the "A" grade guns built in all gauges...Geo
