There are a couple examples of The Daly Gun with the initials CFW, who was a subcontractor & possibly one of the staples early on for Daly/Lindner.

That is a " labor of love " gun not one easily flipped for big bucks. Still, it has potential to the right person. Like it always does, it comes down to the barrels. If they cleanup well all the rest is simple. If they are trashed then you could still fix her up or put tubes in it to make it a shooter. But hard to carry it if you end up with a 10-11 pound 20 ga hammer gun.

Don't get me wrong I love these kind of guns. Witnessed by the fact I have several dozen of them either restored, repaired or awaiting one or the other. I figure that if I did not do it they would be scrap or hanging over some fireplace. If you loose heart or come to your sense let me know. Always room for one more project gun along the gun room wall.

HomelessjOe

You have been blocked on my settings for a long time. Most trolls are, but I looked at your post anyways. Just bored I guess or hoping that you had something to add for a change. Still nothing important to add I see.

The gun above was a project a few months back. Used it a two weeks ago on a hunting trip. Pictures are from before. Break was bad but the repair was straight forward and so far has held up well. Most likely going to be given to one of the boys soon anyways. Thanks for your interest. Back to ignoring your post again.

Thank you. Mine looks just like that if you took the 9 off the serial #, and added the #1 stamped above the CFW. Not sure if that means anything. Also not sure what I'm going to do with the gun yet. I have a [supposedly] very good condition jones underlever Belgian 16 hammer gun coming in the next week or so, and if it fills the bill for me in the hammer gun dept., I may be putting this Daly up for sale.

Ky Jon:
Can I move some of those images of the Helice-Elite BTÉ SGDG by BF over to an ongoing thread on Helice-Elite BTÉ SGDG? I guess answer over there, but does the stop pivot or the like?

Please do so Ellenbr with all my consent. Where is the thread? I have others, (pictures), if you need anything extra I can dig them out and see what I have that may help.
