as you may recall, we tried that once before around 150 years ago...unfortunately, the money power people would not let that happen then, nor probably not now either.

actually, four or five countries would be a better idea. such as:

THE UNITED STATES OF THE NORTHEAST.

THE UNITED STATES OF THE SOUTHEAST.

THE UNITED STATES OF THE MIDWEST.

THE UNITED STATES OF THE SOUTHWEST.

THE UNITED STATES OF THE NORTHWEST.
