Suppose Obama decides Bernie Madoff was falsely convicted and pardons him. And suppose Madoff calls me up:

Madoff: "Hi Mike. Bernie Madoff here. I got your number from your shooting student Joe Wood. I formed a new hedge fund and Joe is one of the investors. I am offering you a chance to get in on the ground floor. Would you like to invest in my new fund?"

Me: "NO!"

Madoff: "Why not?"

Me: "Because I think you are lying, cheating, narcissistic sociopath."

Madoff: "Why? Have we ever done bidness?"
