I have been asking for Remo O/U informatin but also would like to know if someone can tell me how to fix a problem I am having with it. The top firing pin hangs up when I go to open the gun. I have been told it is the timing and is due to wear on the levers that are compressed when the gun is opened that cock the gun. I tried putting a shim on top of the lever but this did not help. Any suggestions? Jim

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll take a look at the pins and if that doesn't seem like the problem I'll try New England. Thanks, Jim

If you can get to it, or it may be an integral part of the hammer, I would take a ball point pin spring and cut it to a desired length to see if it would resolve the issue. Then maybe hunt for the culprit. Think you might pleasure us with some images, especially of the marks?

I'll try to get some pictures this weekend. I've tried before but it is difficult because the metal is dark. Maybe I have some chalk. Thanks, Jim

Let me know whether or not you got them. I know how to send them as an attachment but not sure how to send them to you on this site. I tried. Jim
