Hi, does anyone know were you can get 16ga 2 1/2" Slug loads? I got a drilling that is chambered for 2 1/2", may want to use the shotgun bbls as a backup.

It is my pleasure to tell you that per Brenneke USA you can expect to see an "official" announcement from Brenneke sometime in November saying that they are targeting the first quarter of 2013 for the re-introduction of the Brenneke classic 16/67.5 patent Brenneke slug (2 1/2") to the United States market. In the mean time there is a possibility that you may be able to find a few boxes here and there from "back in the day" on GunBroker and other sites.

Sellier and Bellot also make them. I purchased some yesterday and they are a copy of the Brenneke slug rather than Foster type.

That's good news about the Brenneke slugs. Also, I'd like to know if the S&B slugs are available anywhere in the US. I've looked occasionally but have never found them here. Thanks, Ron

I can't comment on their accuracy yet as it's bird season down here and so range testing is on hold for a while.

Would you consider reloading?
When reloading them yourself, you can adjust point of impact little bit.
As we know, many drillings may have huge difference in rifle and shotgun barrels point of impact.
