I would guess the longarm to wear Belgian proofmarks and to be from between the Wars. It is possible that A.M. Main-waring sourced both Belgian and French, with Fauré(Perin??)-Lepage(Henri)(of No. 8 Richelieu??) being a possibility till WWI. I think the probability of the longarm in question to have been sourced from Fauré-Lepage(Henri) is pretty low, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faur%C3%A9_Le_Page (copy & paste) , but with tube makers like Nicolas Bernard as an apprentice, I'm sure their reputation quickly floated to the top. 44 Rue - Des Petits - Champs Paris may have been the address of A.M. Mainwaring or one of their sources. Like many French makers little info seems to be available.

Kind Regards,

Raimey
