A few things I can think of that I would definitely have to do or check is, 1) New can of fix-a-flat on board, or "Slime" in the tires, 2) Can of "Sea Foam" in the tank, and some in the crankcase, 3) Check jumper cables for rust and continuity, 4) a good chain or tow strap, and 5) some de-icer for the windshield.
I'll explain:
1) It's a little tough to change a tire, when you are parked in the mud, 2) This stuff is well known in the motorcycle world for solving deposits in carbs and cleaning injectors and lifters of sludge, 3) Just in case your battery shorts some plates and suddenly dies while you are out in the field, 4) In case you get stuck and some farmer happens along to pull you out, and 5) In case the weather turns cold and sleety before you finish your hunt.
