Is it true that Chubby Checker favored the twist over damascus and does anyone know why?

Boredom and too much Stag beer is the culprit. BTW, it's the only beer to have with possum.

No Homeless Joe here. The difference between me and Joe is my apparently poor attempts at humour were not directed with any malice toward anyone although in my last several posts I was suspected of trying to scam someone so I could burglarize their home of their eight gauge Westley Richards double and then I was accused of being Homeless Joe in disguise. I've been collecting and shooting doubles for years with no interaction before here. Guess I will continue to do so.

Well, I just have to straighten everyone out on "The Twist". Actually, this song was written by Hank Ballard, and recorded (2) Two years before Chubby Checker's version, by, "Hank Ballard and The Midnighters", but it was only a regional hit in the southeast. I really liked the original better than Chubby Checker's version, but we know who made the most money on The
Twist.

Used to have a brother in law that everbody said was "plumb serious" about his drinkin. He would stop every morning on his way to work and get a 6-pack of Stag in cans and put them behind his pick-up seat. By the time he got off work that stuff had to be nearly boiling cause he'd roll up his windows and lock the doors to keep everbody away from his beer. He done that so much he got to where he'd rather his beer was warm instead of ice cold, plus nobody wanted to drink it if it was warm.
