Never boring, frequently useful. Your location in the world also provides arcane knowledge not typically found in this country.

Geno, always nice to read your posts about dogs and hunting. Especially since you have true Irish Setters.
Keep up with more pictures of your beautiful dogs and scenery.

Geno, I've personally benifitted from your knowledge and experience on several occasions. You identified a 20b hammer gun for me a couple of years ago. Tula gun Pre-war Toz-B if my memory serves me correctly. I wrote down the info you provided and keep it in the case with the old girl. That will keep my kids from having to start over with the research when the Good Lord calls me home to the great pheasant field in the sky. Thanks again for your Russian perspective and knowledge.

I particularly enjoy your hunting pictures. The boars, the Irish Setters, and gamebirds I never heard of.

Thanks!

Geno- I've learned much, not only from you but because of you. Your posts introduced me to a Russia I never knew existed and led me to ask questions of our many immigrants. I've learned a great deal. Thanks.

Ps: Good luck with the "mooses"!

Gena, your posts are always interesting, and ones I will read based on the author, no matter the subject. I never understood Russ and some of the others pressuring you to change your name?

I'm quite new around here, but always love to read your posts Geno. As many others have stated, your pictures and posts provide me a glimpse at a land I have yet to know personally - thanks!

Geno, I always enjoy your writings and especially when accompanied by photos of your hunts. I always share the pictures with my 13 year old nephew. I also enjoy the look, on my huntings friends faces, when I say "This fellow from St. Petersburg Russia says.....". Best to you, Kurt
