I have a recently acquired a 1941 Ithaca NID. I need a longer LOP. I will have to add a spacer in addition to the pad to get to my desired LOP. What is the period correct pad for this gun?

What you want is the Ithaca Sunburst pad with the hard rubber base.

To get real nit picky, you want one that states
PAT.APPL'D FOR
on the face below the logo --
The ones, like the available repros, that say
PATENTED
are post WW-II --
When introduced in the 1932 Ithaca Gun Co. catalog --
In 1950 they went to the aluminum base --

Thank you. It's responses like these that make this a great forum.
While it would be nice to completely period correct, I can live with the reproduction pad.
Adjusted for inflation(from 1941) the current price of this $3.31 pad would be $57.33
Will order from Galazan for $30.00 plus shipping and be happy.
