Could someone please tell me the approximate weight of a 16 guage Sterlingworth? Is it the same frame size as a 20 guage? This gun was made in Utica. Thanks

My 16ga philly is 6# 4oz.

The majority of 16/20ga 26/28" sterly's I have handled are between 6 and 6.4

Whatever it is, whatever the condition and price, a prime consideration is whether the gun fits you. Took me a while to hoist that aboard.

I've handled Fox 16-gauge doubles as light as five pounds ten ounces and as heavy as six pounds 13 ounces, my 32-inch A-Grade of 1936-vintage.

5 pounds 12 ounces to 6 pounds 6 sounces would be usual weights.
