I got this at the Amoskeag auction, a 60's vintage 20ga AyA 56E with 2 sets of barrels & forends. Really nice wood & sharp, crisp engraving & checkering. I don't know how well it compares with a Purdey, H&H, etc since I've never owned one but I felt like it offered pretty good value ($5500+BP).

The birds you shoot with it won't know how it compares to the other guns, either.

I checked that one out myself-they had it sitting on a table instead of the racks,real nice gun-some of the doubles were good deals that day,a lot of the other guns went very strong.

I looked over 12ga version. That is great all around double shotgun for American shooter. Like Arrieta 601 these are built on heaver actions making them more suitable to standard American target and game loads.
That is very good deal on bench made gun with extra set of upland game barrels and for end.
