I would like to get a pair of triggers re-plated in gold.

I would be very grateful if a few of you would provide me with some options. I'm looking for a reliable and reasonable business that I could ship my triggers to with full confidence that they will come back to me and look/wear well.

Keith Kearcher did a set for me once. Very period correct and seemed awful cheap.

Prep them yourself and take them to a local plater.

This is a dumb question, bit is gold paying appearance the same no matter the source. In other words, will they look the same from a local plater as they will from a gunsmith.

There are numerous kits, using direct current, that you can use to do gold, silver, copper, etc. yourself. These are easy and not expensive.
