I have a Cogswell and Harrison 12 bore 3" chambered plain jane fowler, 1904, 30" steel barrels, choke full and full.
With the gun I have a heavy leather motor case for it with the original Cogswell and Harrison trade label, some scratches of course, named to an officer of the Royal Engineers on the lid.
I need to insure the gun and case, the gun I know the value of the gun, of course, but not the case, I believe these are not cheap to buy.
Can anyone tell me the approximate value of the case? Interior is very good, all partitions present.
Mike

Mike: I would insure the case as you describe for $500.00 USD.

Best Regards, George
