The new L.C.Smith book includes recent research of the old Hunter Arms records on the Smith's and all the grade from 1890 to 1950 are listed with a sales breakdown by each gauge. This information was not in the original Brophy book. There were 3790 grade 3's sold during that period of which only 326 were in 16 gauge.
