I found this gun a about two years ago in a country gun shop for $300. The owner said it came home in a WWII GI duffle bag? The gun has 28 5/8 fluid steel barrels, nice wood, and weights just over 6lbs. I had the gun reblued, new case colors and the stock refinished and the checkering recut. I have about $1200 in the gun and that may be to much, I don't know? Do any of you have a gun that looks like this? If so how do you like it.

I have a few French doubles including an underlever hammer gun, and I think you have a very nice hammer gun indeed.
Cheers,

That's not too much if you enjoy the gun. That little "bump" of a semi-PG is very typically French.

If you like the gun well enough to have the work done and enjoy it now $1200 is cheap.........

Nice looking gun, the odd barrel length is because it is metric. Often times dealers mistakenly think the barrels have been cut.
