produces quality cleaning rods, snap caps, chamber brushes, cleaning kits, ejector
brushes, ram rods, bullet starters, oil bottles and black walnut trunk cases with canvas
and leather covers for your fine shotgun or rifle. Shooting Accessories custom designed
and built to customer specifications are a specialty. I normally use morado (a
honey-striped-with smoke South American hardwood) for snap cap bodies, cleaning rods and
turnscrew handles although other woods, including rosewood and ebony, are available. All
hardware is solid brass. Turnscrew blades are of the best tool steel know of for the job.
Each item comes with a brass monogram on the cover and a similar "Handcrafted for Mr.
-------------" presentation plate on the inside. A DoubleGun Trunk Case or
Cleaning Kit is a "bespoke best" item built to customer specifications that will
be passed on to successive generations. Materials and workmanship are guaranteed under
normal use.
I will repair or replace any item that fails while being used for its intended purpose.
Abuse or misuse voids warranty. If you have a problem with any DoubleGun product, I will
make it right.

Trunk Cases
Each unique case features a frame of hand selected walnut, walnut lumber-core facers,
machined brass stop hinges, a padded leather handle, brass monogram and presentation
plates, central key lock and solid brass draw catches. DGC cases are lined in finest
velvet. Your gun floats on the richness of velvet, framed in the warmth of walnut. To
prevent rusting, there is no metal to cloth contact to hold moisture on steel. base price
for flush panel case is $800, raised panel case base price is $950. Prices are exclusive
of accessories. Your choice of accessories, including oil bottle ($50), snap caps ($75
pr.), turnscrews ($125 set of three), Chamber Brush ($50), trade label ($20 - $65
depending on source), proof card ($15) and cleaning rod ($75)

Accessories
Snap Caps, Oil, Grease & Solvent Bottles, Turnscrews, Chamber Brushes, Ejector
Brushes, Ramrods, Bullet Starters and Cleaning Rods DoubleGun Snap Caps have brass heads,
ebony, cocobola or morado bodies and spring loaded brass primers with self-healing nylon centers. They are
available in all shotgun gauges and most large rifle caliber's priced at $75 per
pair or as a cased set of five gauges, .410, 28, 20, 16 and 12, for $375.
Oil, Grease and Solvent Bottles are machined from brass bar stock and feature
"0" ring sealing to prevent leaks. They are made to order for $50 each.

Turnscrews
Turnscrews come in two handle styles, classic (as shown) and DGC (shown installed in the
cases). They have morado handles (other woods, including rosewood and ebony are available
at additional cost), brass ferrules and parallel ground tool steel blades. They can be
custom ground to fit the screws of a particular gun, as they are when included in a
DoubleGun Case. Turnscrews are $50 each or three for $125. Chamber Brush Handles are
similar to Turnscrews but have a turned brass shaft and are also $50, including a
detachable brush. DoubleGun Cleaning Rods are turned from morado with brass ferrules and
trim. They are available in two or three piece versions for $75 each. Ejector Brushes,
made with boar's bristles on either handle style, are $40. Ramrods and bullet starters are
custom order only and quoted according to specifications. I use quality British bore
brushes, mops, jags and chamber brushes. They are available separately for $10 each
(chamber brushes are $15 each).

Gun Care Kits
DGC makes four different styles of Gun Care Kit: Travel, Four Gauge Gun Room,
Two
Gauge Gun Room and the Ultimate Wingshooters Kit. Cases can be curly cherry, curly maple or walnut. Cleaning rods,
snap caps, chamber brush and turnscrew handles can be
morado, cocobolo or ebony. There is a surcharge for ebony tools to cover increased materials
cost. The Travel Kit contains a two piece rod, chamber brush handle, and two different
gauge chamber brushes, jags and bore brushes (or mops). It is priced at $225. Our Two
Gauge Gun Room Kit features a three piece cleaning rod, the contents of the Travel Kit,
two mops and oil, grease, solvent bottles. It is priced at $450 with the three bottles and
$300 with a storage cavity and oil cloth in place of them. DGC's Four Gauge Gun Room Kit
adds two more gauges' brushes etc. and a rod extension for cleaning barrels longer than
31". It is priced at $625 with bottles and $500 without. DGC also builds Rifle Care
Kits on a custom basis. Canvas and leather travel covers for Gun Care Kits are $50.
The Ultimate Wingshooters Kit is shown closed and extended below. This is
the four gauge layout which contains cleaning tools and snap caps for
12-16-20-28 gauges as well as oil, solvent and grease bottles and a set of
four turnscrews. There is also a five gauge layout with an extras set of
snap caps and brushes but no turnscrews. There is storage in the top and
below the top tray. This item can be done in a two gauge configuration
without the drawer or another drawer could be added with your choice of
further accessories. Four and five gauge price is $1200; two gauge price
without the flip up gun racks is $700. This outfit can be quite
extensively.

Stock
Work
DoubleGun Cases offers a complete stock making service including stock
bending ($150), recoil
pad installation ($50 plus pad), ebony extension installation ($225). And
the Exclusive DGC Leather Covered Pad.
Ebony
extensions are an alternative to a very long recoil pad or wood extension
for lengthening stocks. They are usually less obvious and lighter in
weight than a long recoil pad and less expensive than a walnut
stock extension. The stock does not require complete
refinishing as with a walnut extension.
The DGC Leather Covered Pad is a traditional looking
pigskin covered rubber pad installed over most types of butt treatments. -
checkered, heel and toe plates, skeleton butt plates, curved butts. The
original butt is undamaged and the DGC pad can be removed at a later date
if required. If you have a short stocked gun that you don't want to cut to
install a traditional recoil pad, this is the solution. Prices range from
$150 to $250 depending upon what type of butt is involved.
Complete gun stocks are quoted on
a time plus material basis.

Information
Custom Work is always available - I will design and build the "best" quality
shooting accessories you require. Most pieces can be made from any suitable hardwood you
prefer as long as I can obtain it in the grade and dimensions needed for the job. Some
woods are better than others for specific jobs. Custom work is priced separately.
Prices do not include shipping and are subject to change. I need your gun,
or one like it, to build a case. I have secure storage facilities to protect your
investment. I ask for a 50% deposit when work begins, the remainder on delivery.
DoubleGun Cases and Accessories are best quality accents for your fine
shotgun or rifle. They will enhance your investment and pride of ownership while
protecting your piece of the gunmakers art.
